40 5mm LED board comes with built in high/low function and can be cut every 4 LEDs. Every section can be used there are solder pads on every 4 sections. The board is flexible and great for custom jobs. There are mounting holes and ends of the board.  The total thickness of the board with the LEDs is .4"
